Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Jen grew up in Ohio and California. She moved to South Carolina in 1992 and attended the University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. In 1999, she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she was recognized for her clinical excellence with children. Dr. Jen stayed in Charleston for two additional years and was awarded her specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry. While in residency, she was recognized by the Care Alliance Health Services for her contributions to improving the dental health of the children of migrant workers in the Charleston area. Also, she enthusiastically volunteered at the Smiles for a Lifetime clinic for children who otherwise would have no access to dental care.
Dr. Jen made Greenville her home and opened her practice in July 2002. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and received her Diplomate Status (Board Certification) in 2006. She has been a long standing member of the Gnathos Orthodontic Study Group. In addition to private practice, Dr. Jen is on the clinical faculty at the MUSC Pediatric Dentistry Postgraduate Residency program where she donates her time to teaching her future colleagues.
Jennifer loves spending time with her three children and is fanatical about the mountains. She loves skiing, hiking and camping. She actively participates in her church, and has maintained strong ties with her community.
Dr. Sairah was born and raised in Gaffney, SC and graduated from Spartanburg High School. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston in 1994 and then attended the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1999. In 2000, she completed her GP Residency in Birmingham, Alabama.
Dr. Sairah practiced in Atlanta, Georgia until she married and moved to New York where she continued to practice dentistry and later entered a Prosthodontics Residency in New York City. Wanting to raise her family “down south, ” she relocated to Greenville in 2005 when she joined Dr. Jen and her team at Ashby Park Pediatric Dentistry. She is an affiliate member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, member of the South Carolina Dental Association and also a member of the Gnathos Orthodontic Study Group.
Dr. Sairah is married to Nasir Awan, MD, who is a physician with Palmetto Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates. They have three children. She loves reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her children.

Dr. Leanna is a native of McMurray, Pennsylvania, a suburb just south of Pittsburgh. There, she met her high school sweetheart and now husband, Bryant. After studying chemical engineering and microbiology, Dr. Leanna graduated with honors from The Ohio State University. Moving back home, she continued her studies at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine. Since her father was a practicing orthodontist in the area, she had initially envisioned working along side him. That was until she had her first rotation through the Special Needs Clinic and fell in love with the patients there. Now, with a passion for orthodontics, children, and people with special needs of all ages, Dr. Leanna moved to Charleston, South Carolina where she entered a residency program that matched her needs. With extra focus on orthodontics and growth and development, she completed her postgraduate residency in pediatric dentistry at the Medical University of South Carolina.
In 2014, she joined the family of Ashby Park Pediatric Dentistry and Family Orthodontics. . Soon after, Dr. Leanna and her husband welcomed their little bundle of joy, Cameron Bryant, into the world. As her family now calls Greenville home, they are excited to continue to grow as a family in the Upstate. Dr. Leanna continues to build upon her education as a member of the Gnathos Orthodontic Study Group and has privileges at Greenville Memorial Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the South Carolina Dental Association.
Dr. Leanna is a self-proclaimed “foodie” and loves exploring new restaurants. She also enjoys running, spending time with her family, and anything outdoors.
Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Matt is a native of Greensburg, PA, and attended the University of Pittsburgh. During his final semester he was able to earn his credits on a Semester at Sea voyage experience where he visited China, Vietnam, India, Kenya, South Africa, Venezuela, and Brazil.
He then continued on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH) at A.T. Still University in 2012. During dental school in Arizona, he served as class president and was an active member of the Pediatric Dental Study Club. Dr. Matt had the pleasure of caring for many children with significant dental needs, as well as many with special health care needs. He was also able to offer his services on a dental mission in a small town in Mexico. All of these influential experiences drove him to take the next step and realize both his passion for dentistry and love of working with kids – becoming a pediatric dentist!
After graduation from dental school, he completed a two-year pediatric dental residency program at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and was co-residents with Dr. Leanna! He received specialized training in child growth and development, prevention, child behavior management, dental trauma management, treatment of patients with special health care needs, and pediatric sedation/anesthesia. Dr. Matt served as co-chief resident during his final year of residency. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the South Carolina Dental Association, and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Matt has recently been distinguished as a board certified pediatric dentist.
Dr. Matt and his wife, Amelia were married in Charleston, SC in the summer of 2014 and have two adorable dogs; Bubba (the boxer) and Paisley (the pug). In his spare time he enjoys fishing, golfing, hiking, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Matt and his wife recently relocated to Greenville and they are very excited to call the upstate home.
